Position:  Clinic Practice Supervisor (42627)
This position coordinates plans and organizes the daily operations of front door under the direction of Practice Clinic Manager.

* Provide patient service duties that are welcoming, engaging and accessible. These integrated care services are recovery focused, trauma informed, strengths based, culturally competent, gender sensitive, age appropriate, patient centered, and co-occurring capable.
* Work as part of a team to meet the needs of the patient in a timely and thorough manner. Interact with patients in a respectful, genuine and professional manner.
* Manage the daily operations of the front office to include check-in and check-out flow, monitoring of eligibility status and requirements, customer service needs, and collaboration with administrative and clinical staff.
* Coordinate the fee agreement process, insurance verification, and knowledgeable regarding various payer sources to include Medicaid, ODMHSAS and private insurance.
* Provide supervision to admissions specialists to include training, scheduling, annual evaluations, timesheet approval, support and monitoring.
* Produces high volume of work with efficiency and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in all work performed.
* Handle requests and inquiries whenever possible; routes calls or message to the appropriate clinic staff if necessary.
* Handle customer questions, complaints and service problems politely and efficiently, investigate patient concerns/issues and problem solve resolution clinic under the direction of Program Manager.
* Serve as a backup to admissions staff to include evenings and Saturdays when needed.
* Responsible for all tasks involved in closing and opening the front office as scheduled.
* Coordinate the maintenance of the following: adequate supplies and inventory for office functions, phone list, group list, room schedules and any other lists/forms required to maintain office scheduling and organized office functioning.
* Seeks clinical intervention when necessary.
* Knowledgeable regarding NorthCare's electronic record system, OHCA, Navinet and Outlook public folders.
* Return phone calls promptly and check and respond to email daily.
* Perform other duties as required and/or assigned by Program Manager/Director and/or Executive Staff.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree preferred and 2 years of experience in management setting. Must demonstrate good leadership skills, interpersonal skills, customer service skills, organization skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally with English-speaking patients. Must display proficiency in the MS Word processing software and intermediate general computer skills. Employee must be able to move about the facility freely and be able to sit for extended periods. Must have current (within last year) TB test, or obtain within first 30 days of employment. Must possess and maintain current certification in CPR, First Aid, and CAPE; or obtain within 30 days of employment with NorthCare. Employee must possess or obtain Core Level Co-Occurring Training via NetSmart University within 30 days of employment with NorthCare and Trauma Informed training within 90 days of hire.
