DescriptionWe are currently looking for a Part Time 38 Facility Services Assistant Gmgto join the Artesian Hotel and Spa Facility Services Unit 2 team located at the Artesian Hotel and Spa. This is a 1st shift position.
SummaryPerforms any combination of cleaning tasks for assigned areas and facilities, including hospital, gaming, manufacturing and office environments, restrooms and corridors to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
Responsibilities- Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency.
- Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities.
- Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members, and customers of all types.
- Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment, promotes professionalism, and is punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance, and other assigned work time metrics.
- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards.
- Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies, and guidelines for assigned area.
- Cleans assigned area, including:
- Cleaning and sweeping floors
- Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms
- Emptying ash trays
- Disposing of trash
- Cleaning exterior areas such as parking lots and sidewalks
- Aligning seats close to machines in gaming areas
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming and performing basic cleaning and janitorial procedures
- Dusting, polishing, and cleaning furniture in common areas and other areas as requested
- Cleansing windows, doors, mirrors, glass partitions, baseboards, jambs, trim, and walls, maintaining sanitization of restrooms, emptying and cleaning waste receptacles
- Mixing various cleaning agents and using cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces
- Maintaining equipment and materials used to fulfill tasks and replenishing supplies, keeping simple records of work performed and materials used
- Using safe and sanitary work practices when cleaning facilities and using cleaning chemicals
- Performing all other duties as assigned
- Able to follow instructions, both written and oral.
- Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements.
- Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability.
- Able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of Chickasaw Nation, departmental, divisional and all other rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Understanding of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
- Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management.
- Keeps written records.
- Vacuum cleaner, basic equipment, knowledge carpet care.
- Janitorial equipment and supplies.
- No prior experience required.
- High School, GED or Equivalent.
- Pass general background check.
- Standard Driver's License.
- Gaming license or permit as required by assigned position.
