Summary

Greet and assist patrons in the purchasing of items available for sale, accepting cash and change. Responsible for providing the highest level of customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency.
  • Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities.
  • Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types.
  • Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment.
  • Maintains and promotes professionalism.
  • Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics.
  • Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards.
  • Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area.
  • Explains various aspects of programs, promotions, benefits, rewards and/or requirements to internal and external customers, citizens, etc.
  • Picks up and signs for cash bank to be used on assigned shift.
  • Maintains purchase log of sales conducted on assigned shift to be given to Gift Shop Manager for inventory purposes.
  • Audits and reconciles credit card receipts, cash received, and balance cash drawer on assigned shift, and completes cash report for all cash denomination and credit card receipts.
  • Promotes products to increase guest satisfaction and store sales.
  • Handles routine customer complaints and incidents, exhibiting the appropriate discretion to identify situations that require the attention of supervisory personnel.
  • Assists and guides customers with purchase selection.
  • Engages potential customers and guides with selection and purchase decisions.
  • May order catalog items if not in stock.
  • Operates point-of-sale terminal to tally customer purchases and ensure accurate payment is received.
  • Provides accurate change for cash purchases.
  • Processes discounts, refunds, exchanges, coupons accurately.
  • Balances register/terminal and completes reports for receipts, cash balance.
  • May perform minor troubleshooting of POS.
  • Maintains accurate cash count and assumes responsibility for any shortages at end of shift.
  • May be responsible to confirm POS pricing updates.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

  • Count large amounts of cash by hand / with cash counting machines.
  • Operate point-of-sale terminal.
Experience

No prior experience required.

Education

High School, GED or Equivalent.

Credentials
  • Pass gaming background check.
  • Gaming license or permit as required by assigned position.
