Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced Gifted Teachers for full-time positions with school districts in the Emporia, KS area. Requirements:
- Must meet all local and state requirements for Gifted Teachers in the Emporia, KS area.
- Hold appropriate licensure and certification as a Gifted Teacher.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching and supporting gifted students, with a passion for fostering their intellectual and creative growth.
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and strategies for meeting the diverse needs of gifted learners.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging and challenging curriculum tailored to the unique needs of gifted students.
- Provide direct instruction to gifted students in various subject areas, including advanced coursework and enrichment activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support the social, emotional, and academic development of gifted learners.
- Conduct assessments to identify gifted students and participate in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed.
- Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in gifted education through professional development opportunities and ongoing learning.
