We are looking for a one Vice President of Operations with successful experience (long term care nursing homes) to be accountable for performance of the facilities located across Nebraska. The ideal candidate will support the Regional Director of Operations over the facilities to meet our high standards of care, and generate strong and consistent operating and financial performance.
Responsibilities- Ensuring positive financial outcomes through labor management, census development and expense control;
- Ensuring Regional Directors of Operations and facility leaders institute and deploy clinical systems and standards that improve patient/resident outcomes, producing exceptional quality care;
- Providing RDO s and facility leaders direction and assistance in creating strategic plans;
- Identifying drivers of variability (facility/market drivers) and offer advice on where to make improvements;
- Monitoring and enforcing brand standards;
- Assisting leaders with referral source relationship development and maintaining the company presence in the market;
- Performing the role of compliance liaison with local, state, federal and licensing rules and regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA and State Survey issues, etc.;
- Maintaining positive relations with community referral sources at large, all visitors, guests and residents.
Critical thinking a must! Ability to demonstrate knowledge and past experience with successful financial outcomes, high standards of care, and state survey process with a positive track record. Effective verbal and written communications and community relations skills. Must be skilled in conflict resolution, staff engagement and relationship building. Computer literacy skills (Microsoft, Outlook, Microsoft Office, Internet). Must be able to work some evenings and weekends and maintain a flexible work schedule.
Ability to travel overnight as needed.
Minimum of five (5) years operational experience required;
Multi-facility experience preferred.
