Gundersen Health System is seeking a detail-oriented Payment & Charge Posting Specialist to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring a smooth and accurate processing of insurance payments for both Hospital and Clinic.
What's Available- Fulltime, 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE)
- Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7 AM
-3:30 PM - Location:
Onalaska, Wisconsin Support Services Building - Eligible for hybrid work schedule after training (training can typically take 4-6 months long)
- Starting pay of $17.54/hour + more based on relevant years of experience
- High School Diploma or equivalency and successful completion of defined core competency testing for Payment and Charge Posting Specialists within 90 days of employment
- 1 year of office, insurance or medical facility experience
- Strong understanding of medical billing and coding principles
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
