- Lead and manage key tax processes related to depreciation, amortization, and depletion
- Prepare and review complex corporate and partnership tax returns
- Research and evaluate tax treatment for non-routine and complex transactions
- Translate new tax law and accounting guidance into practical implementation
- Improve tax processes, controls, and documentation
- Support performance metrics and operational reporting within the tax function
- Partner cross-functionally on strategic initiatives and projects
- Coach and develop others within your functional area
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or related field (Master’s a plus)
- 5+ years of relevant tax/accounting experience (8+ years in lieu of degree considered)
- Strong technical foundation in federal and state income taxation
- Hands-on experience with complex transactions and technical tax research
- Naturally process-oriented; enjoys improving how things work
- Experience in asset-heavy or capital-intensive industries strongly preferred
- Competitive base salary in the $110-130k range
