Accounting Manager – 100% Remote
About the Company and Opportunity:
- Our repeat client is a healthcare technology company that provides data management, analytics, and software solutions to support clinical trials and improve decision-making in drug development.
- Due to a vacancy, they are hiring an Accounting Manager. This position is remote!
- Duration: 1-2 months
- Pay: 40-44/hr, depending on experience
Overview of the Accounting Manager role:
- Oversee the billing department (3 staff)
- Running payroll (110 employees; biweekly/semi-monthly)
- Bank Reconciliations
- Month-end close
- Deferred Revenue / Revenue Recognition
- Ad hoc projects/reporting
Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:
- 7+ years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related is required
- Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Power Query)
- SAAS experience is a plus
- Supervisory experience is required
- Maxio (previously known as SAASOptics), ADP Total Source, and Sage Intacct experience is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
