About the Role
This position is a temporary/seasonal role designed to support the Visiting Immunization Nurse Team from September through December. The primary responsibilities include data entry for the Immunization Program, specifically inputting immunization records from clinics, and providing clerical support at community-based flu clinics.
The role offers flexibility in work location, allowing for remote work from home based on training and knowledge of the position, or on‑site work at the Grand Rapids Office if necessary. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting visitors and staff, managing clinic documentation, and ensuring efficient and accurate data processing. This role is vital in maintaining the integrity of immunization records and supporting the overall success of community health initiatives.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience demonstrating excellent customer service skills
- Previous computer experience, including proficiency with data entry and basic office applications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational policies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organize and prioritize clerical tasks at community-based flu clinics, including setup and takedown activities
- Maintain clinic forms, cash boxes, and other documentation with accuracy and timeliness
- Access and verify customer payer information to ensure proper billing and payment processes
- Input immunization data accurately into the system from clinic records
- Greet visitors and staff, guiding them through the clinic process with professionalism and high visibility
- Support clerical activities such as maintaining confidentiality of staff, clients, and organizational information
- Ensure all required documentation for immunization activities is completed correctly and promptly
- Assist in managing customer interactions, providing instructions, and responding to inquiries efficiently
