Support Chief and Council as the Executive Assistant at Michipicoten First Nation, located near Wawa, ON. Deliver essential administrative services while maintaining a skilled rapport with community members.
This temporary six-month position requires five years of experience in similar executive roles. Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, managing agendas, and ensuring timely distribution of Council meeting minutes. The position may involve remote work and will also require travel for occasional meetings and engagements in the community.

Key Responsibilities   Organize virtual and in-person Council meetings
Create and manage meeting agendas and minutes
File and maintain Council documents securely
Assist with planning Community Engagement meetings
Back up administrative responsibilities when needed
Requirements   Certificate or Diploma in Administration or Business
Minimum five years of executive administrative experience
Robust written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of administrative procedures and governance
Valid driver’s license and ability to work flexible schedule
