The Education and Student Experience Team in the School of Life Sciences is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Administrator to make an important contribution to this welcoming and successful team.
You will be responsible for a wide variety of administrative procedures and tasks which contribute to the organisation and delivery of teaching and learning, and which support students and academic colleagues across this large and complex school. You will assist in the planning and organisation of the School’s open days, student arrival and induction, and other events and activities to enhance the student experience.
You will be responsible for providing administrative support to committee groups, and for supporting the Senior Operations Manager with financial management, purchasing goods, services and travel on behalf of teaching colleagues.
You will need excellent organisational and administrative skills and experience of managing your own workload and day to day priorities. You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and customer service, able to interact effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will have proven IT skills and excellent attention to detail. You will be experienced in working supportively as part of a team to deliver activities in a fast-paced and varied environment.
This is a full-time post (36.25 hours per week) for a fixed Term till 31/03/2027.
