About the Team

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is a global edge‑to‑cloud company. The Engagement Manager will work from home as part of the remote/teleworker program.

The Engagement Manager leads the pursuit lifecycle for outsourcing opportunities, from qualification through negotiation to deal closure. The role is accountable for assembling teams, developing proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the deal meets strategic objectives. The position typically involves deals up to $10 million TCV and may lead larger, complex engagements coordinated with enterprise partners.

• Lead deal teams and represent the company to the customer for outsourcing deals up to $10m TCV.
• Assemble required resources/skills to develop proposal, pursue and win large national outsourcing deals.
• Coordinate all deal team efforts with sponsorship of MS Engagement Director.
• Assist in opportunity qualification and risk assessment.
• Validate/endorse the technical solution for the deal, working with delivery to assure deliverability.
• Develop deal timeline and ensure that pursuit team meets milestones and deadlines.
• Lead pursuit team in developing and substantiating a winning value proposition that meets the needs of the customer, including analyzing critical business drivers and risks.
• Lead negotiations for national medium‑size deals and assist with large complex deals.
• Proactively manage all resource requirements throughout deal pursuit.
• Assist in the transition of deal leadership to assigned management for seamless asset transfer.

• Typically 5–7 years experience in complex IT service business environment.
• University degree preferable.
• Knowledge of corporate organization and policies.
• Strong contract negotiation and client relationship skills.
• Program/project management competency.
• Ability to build and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Experience in proposal development, pricing, and risk assessment.
