Overview
This is a hybrid role with a mix of remote and in-office working. Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.

The role sits in the Finance & Corporate Services department, on the Corporate Development team, and reports to the Director, Corporate Development.
What You Will Do- Business Consulting - Provide high quality business consulting services and advice to senior-level stakeholders in region to support Fidelity’s strategic objectives.
- Strategy Consulting - Contribute to and, as required, lead exercises to assess, develop, and execute winning strategies for Fidelity Canada.
- Corporate Development - Support Fidelity Canada in sourcing, qualification, diligence, and execution of corporate development actions (e.g., mergers, acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures, partnerships) within Canada.
- Competitor & Market Research - Generate insights from trends, disruptions, innovations, and challenges that may impact the industry, markets, clients, and business propositions; assess impact and responses.
- Stakeholder Presentations and Discussions - Design, contribute to, and lead presentations; report on progress and guide discussions with working teams, steering committees, and Fidelity Canada’s executive team.
- Demonstrable core strategy consulting skills; strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with business strategy and innovation frameworks used to implement new strategies.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with confidence to engage senior managers.
- Good project management skills; ability to influence without authority.
- Independent, curious, risk-taker; thrives in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- High financial acumen and ability to build relationships across functions and levels.
- Demonstrated individual and team leadership capabilities.
- 4+ years experience in a strategy consulting, corporate development, finance, or strategy & planning role.
- University degree (Commerce, Economics, Accounting or related) or equivalent experience.
- Financial services industry experience preferred with a strong understanding of global asset and wealth management, including retail and workplace investing, competitive landscape, products/propositions, client segments, and regulatory environment.
- Additional formal business education or designations (MBA/CPA/CA/CMA/CGA) is an asset.

- Base Salary and discretionary Performance Bonus: A competitive annual range of $105,000 to $129,000, based on experience and qualifications.

After 6 months of employment;
