Strategic Forecasting Analyst | $245/hr Remote
Base pay range: $140.00/hr - $245.00/hr
Position: Strategic Forecasting Analyst
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $140–$245/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities- Deliver calibrated, evidence-based forecasts on complex real-world topics (e.g., geopolitics, macroeconomics, global events)
- Clearly document forecasting rationale, assumptions, methodology, and sources
- Participate in peer review and collaborative refinement of forecasts
- Advise on prompt design, scoring frameworks, and resolution criteria
- Support evaluation of AI-generated forecasts against expert human benchmarks
- Recognized affiliation with forecasting organizations (e.g., Good Judgment Project, Swift Centre, RFI, IIF)
- Proven track record of high forecasting accuracy and calibration
- Experience in competitive or high-stakes forecasting environments
- Strong probabilistic reasoning, analytical thinking, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and asynchronously on structured tasks
