Position Overview
Associate Area Business Analyst (Remote) – Smith+Nepphew.
We design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. This role is a highly visible, fast‑paced, field‑facing position that helps turn data into real‑world business impact.
Responsibilities- Partner with field sales leadership to deliver clear, actionable insights that support decision‑making.
- Analyze sales, market, pipeline, territory, and customer performance data to identify opportunities and risks.
- Translate complex analysis into clear, executive‑ready insights that drive decisions.
- Support core business rhythms such as forecasting, quarterly business reviews, and territory planning.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Finance, Marketing, Operations, and centralized Analytics teams.
- Challenge assumptions and influence outcomes through data‑driven recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Sales or Market Analysis, Revenue Operations, Analytics, or a similar commercial role.
- Experience working with sales teams or field leadership and the ability to build strong, credible relationships.
- Strong problem structuring, analytical thinking, and the ability to turn insights into clear recommendations.
- Confident communication and stakeholder‑management skills, including presenting to senior leaders.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, experience with CRM data such as Salesforce, and experience using Power BI, AI tools, or basic SQL to enhance analysis and insight delivery is a plus.
The expected hiring range for this position is $74,000 to $85,000. This position may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
