• Educational background in journalism or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in producing entertainment and related content.
• In-depth familiarity with and fierce passion for the music industry, especially the latest music.
• Experience with SEO practices.
• Experience with a custom CMS, preferred.
• Familiarity with music marketing, social media virality (Tik Tok, Instagram Reels, etc.)
• Experience covering events like Coachella, Lollapalooza, The Grammys, or SXSW.
• Connections with insiders and performers, and a history of conducting interviews with artists.
• Knowledge of platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Sound Cloud, Bandcamp.
