Role: German-speaking Support Agent (office-based)

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £22k + bonus

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am – 5pm

Our client is a multi-award winning fintech company.

Role Summary

The Support Agent will handle a variety of inbound and outbound contacts, from customers and clients in Germany. Contacts will be both over the phone and via live-chat, and topics will include taking payments, resolving customer issues, and helping new users in learn to use the company software.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

 * Handle inbound contacts from customers wishing to make changes regarding their payment plan.

 * Handle inbound contacts from clients to answer questions regarding setting up payment plans from their customers.

 * Handle inbound contacts from clients wishing sign up to use the platform.

 * Outbound calling customers who have missed payments to collect and understand their financial situation if they are unable to pay.

 * Achieve targets for quality and productivity.

 * Assist the German sales team as required, for example with document translation or the production of marketing materials for German dealerships.

Experience, skills, and knowledge required for the role

 * Business-level fluency in German

 * Experience in a customer support or collections role

 * GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English

 * Strong IT skills, including Outlook, Word etc

 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 * Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to help customers

 * Confident individual who enjoys working as part of a small close-knit team

 * Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
