Position: Lead Online Teacher for Humanities Courses
Elev8 - DESK Program is seeking an experienced Lead Online Teacher for Humanities courses this summer. Utilize your teaching skills on the D2L/Brightspace Platform to support students and educators.

As a full-time Online Learning Lead Teacher, you will be at the forefront of delivering courses like English Studies 12, Political Studies 12, and more. Your expertise in the D2L platform will also help train and assist fellow teachers. Engage with new students to facilitate their registration and course selection in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Humanities subjects including Child Development and Law Studies

• Assist teachers with the D2L/Brightspace Platform

• Facilitate student intake and course selection

• Support course adjustments based on enrollment numbers

• Collaborate with other educators for effective teaching strategies

Requirements:

• Certified or eligible for certification in British Columbia

• Proven experience with D2L/Brightspace teaching

• Commitment to equity hiring practices

• Relevant teaching experience in Humanities subjects

• Strong communication and mentoring skills
