Job Duties
Instruct computer-aided design and drafting skills to students.
Prepare for and use appropriate delivery methods for instructional assignments.
Manage classroom/lab/activities to ensure an optimum learning environment for students.
Use appropriate methods of evaluating and recording student progress.
Make necessary curriculum adjustments to course content.
Accommodate students with special learning needs.
Attend staff, program and division meetings.
Pursue professional development opportunities to stay current with industry and educational requirements.
Practice good interpersonal and communication skills.
Work cooperatively in an interdependent “team” environment.
Follow any academic regulations and/or policies adopted by Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
Qualifications
Two‑year engineering technology diploma in Drafting, Mechanical, Architectural, or CAD/CAM, including an advanced CAD drafting course.
Autodesk Certified Instructor.
Two years of recent/relevant business/industry experience (within the last five years).

Other Information
Courses run subject to student enrollment. Hours will be assigned by supervisor. This course will be online.
