Position: 0.5 FTE (term) Online Learning Teacher, Math and Science Courses, Elev8 DESK
Job Overview
The Elev8 DESK Program is looking for a teacher for Work Place Math, Pre Calc 11, and other math and science courses to join their summer teaching team.

Responsibilities
Teach the following courses:

Work Place Math 10

Work Place Math 11

Pre-Calculus 11

Earth Science 11

Accounting 11

Any additional science and math courses as needed based on enrollment.

Qualifications
Experience teaching using the D2L/Brightspace platform is required.

Knowledge of senior high Math courses is required.

Must be certified in British Columbia with a Professional Teaching Certificate, or be eligible for certification by the start date of the assignment.

Salary
Salary Range: $68,589 - $114,833 per year, in accordance with the current SD8–Kootenay Lake / KLTF Collective Agreement. Placement on the salary grid is based on qualifications and years of teaching experience as evaluated by the BC Teacher Qualification Service (TQS).
