What You’ll Do
You will be a key member of the Infrastructure Operations team, a group responsible for the uptime, reliability, and strategic growth of Core Weave’s physical data center footprint. You will work closely with fellow engineers, data center operations technicians, and management to ensure our facilities meet the highest standards of performance and availability.
About the RoleYou will oversee the day‑to‑day infrastructure operations of our data center facilities, ensuring the robust performance of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. Your responsibilities will include managing preventative and corrective maintenance programs, engaging with colocation vendors to enforce SLAs, and acting as a technical resource during incident response and resolution. You will be a critical voice in ensuring our physical infrastructure scales seamlessly to support Core Weave’s rapid growth, translating hands‑on experience into operational excellence.
WhoYou Are
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in critical facility operations, with direct experience managing or operating a data center.
- Strong technical understanding of data center MEP infrastructure, including electrical distribution, mechanical cooling systems, and building management/automation systems (BMS/EPMS).
- Demonstrated experience writing and reviewing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) documents for critical incidents.
- Proficiency in analyzing data center redundancy configurations (N, N+1, 2N) and identifying operational risks.
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes such as NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and ASHRAE.
- Experience participating in maintenance, upgrades, and expansions of live data center environments.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% and participate in an on‑call rotation for emergency response.
- Experience with data center design or the commissioning (Cx) of critical facilities.
- Experience managing maintenance programs through a preventative maintenance system (CMMS).
- History of successfully in sourcing or outsourcing specific maintenance tasks based on operational needs.
The base salary range for this role is $143,000 to $191,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. A discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility) are also included.

We prioritize a hybrid work environment, but remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration.
