Location: Austin, Texas

As an Entry Level Structural Engineer, you will participate in the design process of structural systems for our Renewable Energy division, from schematics through construction administration. Your responsibilities include preparing detailed structural engineering drawings, performing design calculations, and ensuring project objectives and documentation standards are met.

• Assist in developing project objectives, goals, and documentation policies.
• Develop structural designs from concept through completion of construction.
• Prepare engineering design calculations and layouts.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and narratives.
• Coordinate structural design requirements with other disciplines and project stakeholders of renewable energy projects.

• Bachelor’s Degree (ABET accredited) in Civil/Structural or Architectural/Structural Engineering.

• Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural or Architectural/Structural Engineering.
• Previous internship, co‑op experience, or full‑time position with a consulting engineering or A/E firm.
• Passed Fundamentals of Engineering Exam.
• Experience with BIM workflow (e.g., Autodesk Revit Structural).
• Interest in renewable energy design, including photovoltaic (PV) systems, battery energy storage systems (BESS), EV charging stations, solar canopies, microgrids, and specialty energy systems.
• Working knowledge of current structural software (ETABS, SAP, SAFE, RAM, ADAPT, RISA, Enercalc).
