As the Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing, preparing, analyzing, and distributing the company’s financial statements. You'll manage key financial processes, including monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closes, variance analysis, and reporting, ensuring our financials are accurate, timely, and impactful. As a member of the leadership team, you'll own financial performance metrics and lead the charge on expense management and job profitability.

- Lead all day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including invoicing, AP/AR, credit management, collections, and payroll backup
- Manage annual financial statement audits, banking relationships, lines of credit, cash flow, and loan obligations
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial analytics, and operational reporting to support business performance
- Oversee risk management and insurance programs, including annual evaluations and renewals across all coverage lines
- Build, document, and maintain scalable finance processes, systems, and internal controls
- Coordinate foreign exchange activities in partnership with sales
- Develop and enforce credit policies to ensure timely, accurate cash flow
- Serve as a strategic finance partner to the President and leadership team, providing insights, risk identification, and business guidance
- Collaborate cross-functionally to remove financial and operational roadblocks and support company objectives
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
- CPA is required
- 5-10 years of experience in progressively responsible financial roles.
- Proven management abilities with strong prioritization skills and the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills—clear and effective with all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical skills, with a talent for sound decision-making based on accurate and timely data.
- A high level of integrity, dependability, and a results-driven mindset with a sense of urgency.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), with advanced Excel skills. Experience with Business Central, SAP, and Paylocity is preferred.
