Sr. DevOps Engineer

Your mission

• Improve the end-to-end process for software development, testing, and deployment, driving efficiency and ensuring seamless delivery of software products.

• Optimize resource utilization and scalability of our infrastructure, enabling us to meet the growing demands of our products and scale as needed.

• Streamline the deployment process to minimize manual interference and automate repetitive tasks, fostering efficiency and reducing human error.

• Enhance monitoring and logging solutions to effectively track the performance and behavior of deployed applications, ensuring optimal performance and quick issue resolution.

• Implement strategies and practices to release software updates without impacting customers, enabling zero-downtime deployments and uninterrupted service.

• Lead the transformation of our product into a multi-cloud solution, making it compatible with various cloud providers and meeting the needs of big enterprises.

• Drive the adoption of cloud provider-agnostic solutions, reducing vendor lock-in and promoting flexibility for our product.

• Implement and uphold industry best practices for security across our product and infrastructure, ensuring our systems are secure and protected from potential threats.

• Implement and enforce two-factor authentication (2FA) for our internal tools and systems, enhancing the security of our internal processes.

• Utilize the full potential of Istio to manage service mesh and microservices architecture, unlocking its capabilities for improved performance and scalability.

• Leverage the advanced security features offered by Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to enhance the overall security posture of our systems, safeguarding our infrastructure and data.

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 7+ years relevant work experience
• Proven experience as a Dev Ops Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on improving software development, testing, and deployment processes
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, enabling efficient and scalable deployment of applications
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Git Hub Actions, ArgoCD, Helm, and Helmfile, ensuring streamlined and automated release processes
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) concepts using tools like Terraform, enabling efficient management of cloud resources
• Familiarity with service mesh and Istio, allowing for advanced management and optimization of microservices architecture
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, ensuring efficient and consistent configuration across systems
• Expertise in monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus/Loki, Kiali, and ELK-stack, facilitating comprehensive performance tracking and issue diagnosis
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and application performance monitoring, ensuring robust and secure infrastructure
