IT Technician - Remote

Summary

YA is seeking a dedicated and customer‑oriented IT Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and assistance to end‑users, ensuring the smooth operation of systems, hardware, and software. This role requires excellent problem‑solving skills, a strong understanding of IT systems, and the ability to communicate effectively with users of varying technical expertise.

• Oversee the Tech Support ticketing system to ensure timely resolution of service requests while upholding exceptional standards of customer service and user satisfaction
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of user accounts and permissions
• Document and track issues, resolutions, and work performed in a ticketing system
• Deliver user training and support to promote adherence to IT policies, enhance technical proficiency, and encourage best practices in system usage and security
• Collaborate with other IT team members to address complex issues and improve overall IT service delivery
• Monitor and research emerging technologies and industry developments to ensure IT strategies and solutions remain current
• Proactively identify opportunities for optimization and improvement across IT operations, demonstrating initiative and a self‑driven approach to problem‑solving
• Collaborate with other IT team members to improve service delivery and support processes
• Complete quality work on time, managing competing priorities and cross‑functional projects
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems. iPad OS is a plus.
• Familiarity with network troubleshooting and basic network concepts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
• Experience managing Microsoft 365 cloud services (Exchange Online, Teams, One Drive, etc.)
• A self‑starter and eager to learn.

$65,000–$75,000 annually

This is a salaried non‑exempt, overtime‑eligible position. Employees in this role are paid overtime at 1.5× the regular rate of pay for all hours worked over 40 in a workweek.
