Overview
The Clinical Informatics Technical Architect provides technical and editorial support to the Education Specialist team in the development and maintenance of Epic Learning Resources using Mad Cap Flare. Primary responsibilities include editing, updating, and organizing learning topics and learning packages to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established content standards. This position requires strong written communication and proofreading skills and includes ongoing support activities such as content remediation and cleanup within Flare.
Prior experience with Mad Cap Flare is not required, as training will be provided; however, previous exposure to Flare or comparable content authoring tools is preferred.
- Edit, update, and organize learning topics and learning packages to ensure accuracy and consistency with content standards.
- Provide technical and editorial support to the Education Specialist team for Epic Learning Resources developed with Mad Cap Flare.
- Perform content remediation and cleanup within Flare as part of ongoing maintenance.
- Bachelor's Degree - Clinical discipline, Information Technology/Informatics, Business, Education, Management, Communications, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 or more years in a position with the same or similar primary duties working with a clinical information system within a healthcare setting.
- Experience with EHR systems.
- Experience with benefits and challenges of adult learning.
- Informatics certifications or credentialing (may be equivalent for up to 2 years of experience for this position at the hiring manager’s discretion) upon hire.
