The Role
Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Analytics will lead and evolve the organization’s analytics function (currently 10+ team members). This role is responsible for enabling data-informed decision-making across the business and supporting performance improvement through practical, actionable insights.
You will work closely with senior leaders across functions including operations, finance, sales, marketing, and technology. The role requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands‑on execution, with a focus on building scalable capabilities and delivering measurable results.
Key Responsibilities- Define and lead the organization’s analytics strategy aligned to business priorities
- Partner with senior leaders to identify opportunities where data and insights can improve decision making and performance
- Support acquisition related activities, including analysis, due diligence, and integration
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of analytics professionals
- Oversee the planning and delivery of analytics initiatives ensuring clear priorities, timelines, and outcomes
- Translate business requirements into practical analytics solutions and reporting frameworks
- Enhance data infrastructure and processes, including progression toward more advanced and AI‑enabled capabilities
- Collaborate across teams to ensure consistent, reliable, and accessible data
- Post‑secondary education in a relevant field (e.g., analytics, computer science, business, engineering) or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience leading analytics or data teams in a business environment
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
- Experience working with and influencing senior leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders
- Proficiency with tools such as SQL, Python, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI or similar)
- Experience working with modern data environments (e.g., cloud platforms, large datasets)
- Familiarity with Agile or iterative delivery approaches
- Experience supporting financial, operational, or commercial analysis
- Exposure to system integrations, data migrations, or transformation initiatives is an asset
