Join Hitachi Rail as a Data and Business Intelligence Analyst Intern in Toronto. This hybrid role focuses on Power BI reporting and enhancing operational efficiency using AI solutions.
As a 12-month internship, this opportunity suits students in their final years of Computer Science or IT programs. You will support the development of functional BI reports and collaborate on data management strategies while championing innovative solutions. Your work will directly contribute to improving operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop functional prototypes in Power BI
• Maintain robust models using Python and SQL
• Evaluate data security configurations for sensitive models
• Create user-friendly reports with modern design patterns
• Analyze data usability and propose integrity improvements
Requirements:
• 4th or 5th year student in Computer Science or related area
• Experience with Power BI and DAX
• Strong foundation in SQL or T-SQL
• Familiarity with Python for data processing
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
