## Business Intelligence Lead - Adults & Housing

** 37 per week### The Opportunity Shropshire Council is seeking an experienced
** Business Intelligence Lead
** to support the delivery of data-led decision making across
** Adult Social Care and Housing services
** on an interim basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking Insight Team at a key time, helping deliver high-quality intelligence to support service improvement, transformation programmes, and strategic decision-making.
You will act as the
** lead expert for data, performance, and insight**, working closely with senior leaders to provide clear, accurate and actionable analysis.###
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and delivery of business intelligence and performance insights for Adult & Housing services
* Act as the key point of contact for senior leaders, including the Director of Adult Social Services
* Support transformation programmes, including demand modelling and service redesign
* Lead on
** CQC inspection and peer review intelligence requirements
*** Drive improvements in
** data quality, reporting, and performance management
*** Develop forecasting models to support planning and service delivery
* Promote innovative use of data, including dashboards and automation
* Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners across the health and social care system
* Identify key trends, risks and opportunities to inform strategic decisions### About You
* Strong experience in
** business intelligence, data analysis, or performance management
*** Background in
** public sector, ideally within Adult Social Care or Housing
*** Proven ability to
** engage and influence senior stakeholders
*** Experience supporting
** service transformation and improvement programmes
*** Strong analytical skills, including forecasting and data modelling
* Experience leading or managing teams is desirable
