- Lead 15 technical, administrative and contact centre staff enhancing a customer‑centric culture in line with council values and service standards.
- Directly manage 3 technical and contact centre team leaders, 2 contract administrators and a voids officer.
- Effectively and robustly manage the core repairs and void contractor ensuring performance meets required standards.
- Ensure effective identification of repairs and appointment making at first point of contact.
- Oversee the responsive repairs aspects and performance of Gas, Electric and other specialist compliance contracts, in conjunction with Compliance Officers.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing technical advice and support.
- Have oversight of all budgets and ensure effective processes for valuations and prompt contractor payments.
- Ensure the team and contractors comply with all health and safety and compliance requirements.
- Professional membership (RICS, CIOB or equivalent).
- Significant experience managing a repairs service, ideally with external contractors.
- Excellent contract and project management skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety and the Big 6 compliance areas related to repairs and voids.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
- Driving licence or access to transport.
