Are you a dynamic individual with a keen insight into digital advertising and a talent for managing client accounts and advertising strategies?

Impact Media, a forward‑thinking digital marketing agency based in Montreal, QC is on the lookout for an experienced Facebook Media Buyer to enhance our team. As a Media Buyer, you will be instrumental in executing effective paid advertising campaigns, optimizing ad spends across platforms, and developing innovative strategies to meet our clients' objectives.

The ideal candidate is a proficient strategist and a proactive thinker who excels in a dynamic environment. Your role will involve deeply understanding client goals, efficiently managing advertising budgets from planning to execution, and continually optimizing campaigns for maximum performance.

A strong grasp of digital advertising tools is essential; we are primarily seeking someone with an analytical mindset, adept at balancing multiple campaigns and excelling in communication with clients and the team to achieve outstanding results within designated timelines.

Experienced Candidate Request

This is not an entry level position. Training will be provided for general software and processes of Impact Media but candidates should have previous experience managing paid client accounts.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement robust Facebook ads strategies to enhance brand visibility, attract new users, and generate leads through Facebook and Instagram campaigns.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of client brands to fully grasp their unique needs, value propositions, products, and design ethos.
  • Utilize tools such as Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Looker Studio & Supermetrics to gather insights and formulate actions for month‑over‑month revenue growth for clients.
  • Monitor and manage media purchases, ensuring ad placements are executed as planned on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Produce regular reports and dashboards to measure campaign outcomes and deliver actionable insights to clients.
  • Develop comprehensive advertising schedules covering client onboarding, campaign launch, and ongoing account management.
  • Craft compelling ad copy for Facebook and Instagram, aimed at driving engagement and action from targeted demographics.
  • Leverage Ai tools to produce ideas, creatives, briefs & scripts to be used in marketing campaigns
  • Perform detailed competitive analysis encompassing products, market trends, services, and competitor strategies.
  • Identify and report on emerging digital technologies, trends, and tools to the leadership team.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients and internal teams regarding updates, progress, and any challenges.
Commitment

40 Hours Per Week with Three Month Trial Period

This role is aimed to be filled by July 1st of 2026

Hybrid work - mostly remote

Fixed term contract (Independent contractor agreement - not employment)

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Facebook ads
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working directly with clients
  • Strong understanding of the online advertising industry and social media
  • Strong understanding of the creative process as well as the systematic iteration/testing of creatives
  • Proven track record of successfully leading & managing client relationships
  • Proven track record of successfully leading, managing & growing Facebook ad accounts
  • (Bonus) Technical Skill :
    Proficient in Google ads
  • Project Management

Salary Range

$60,000 - 70,000 (CAD) based on experience.
