Embark on a meaningful journey as a Travel Registered Nurse specializing in PCU in Lancaster, New Hampshire, where your clinical skillset will guide patients through complex recovery in a high‑touch progressive care environment. In this pivotal role, you’ll blend vigilant assessment with compassionate care, ensuring safe transitions from acute care to step‑down settings, while contributing to a cohesive, patient‑centered team. The assignment starts 03/16/2026 and will run for several weeks, with schedule and length coordinated to meet unit needs and your professional goals.

Picture yourself making a tangible impact while exploring the quaint charm of Lancaster and the broader Granite State—the perfect mix of outdoor beauty, seasonal recreation, and small‑town hospitality.

From the nearby White Mountains to serene river trails and fall foliage that glows, you’ll find opportunities to unwind after shifts and reconnect with nature. For travel nurses, the program also provides the chance to work in different locations across the United States, gaining exposure to diverse hospital systems, patient populations, and care protocols.

Whether you prefer Northeast settings with easy access to coastlines and mountain towns or the option to rotate to other regions, you’ll have the flexibility to broaden your professional horizons while maintaining work‑life balance with supported onboarding and housing assistance.

In PCU, you’ll care for adults requiring intermediate to high‑acuity nursing support, delivering continuous monitoring, telemetry, IV therapy, wound care, medication management, and ongoing assessment to detect early deterioration. Your daily responsibilities include accurate patient assessments, timely documentation, collaboration with physicians and case managers, and coordinating discharge planning and patient education. You’ll contribute to improving throughput, guiding families through recovery milestones, and ensuring safe, evidence‑based practice in a fast‑paced unit.

This position offers robust opportunities for professional growth—pursue specialty certifications, participate in unit‑based education, and assume expansion roles as you build expertise in hemodynamic stability, post‑op care, and rapid response initiatives.

Our compensation package is competitive, featuring a weekly pay range of $2,230–$2,331, with a sign‑on bonus and housing assistance designed to ease relocation and living arrangements. Contract extension opportunities give you the chance to deepen your impact, maintain continuity of care for patients, and advance along your clinical path. In addition, you’ll receive comprehensive support from a dedicated, travel‑savvy team that is available 24/7 to assist with travel logistics, credentialing, facility needs, and clinical questions, ensuring you never navigate a challenge alone.

Please note that hours and pay rates listed are estimates and may vary; final compensation packages and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during the hiring process. While the contract specifies Weeks of service, the exact duration will be finalized in coordination with the facility and your preferences. The assignment requires adaptability, strong communication, and a proactive approach to safety and patient advocacy.
