Emergency Medical Care Inc. is seeking a Tele Health Nurse for remote work in Nova Scotia or PEI. Provide essential healthcare support and triage to patients over the phone, making a difference every day.
In this role, you'll utilize your clinical nursing skills to assess symptoms and guide over 100,000 patients annually. The position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities with flexible shifts tailored to your work-life balance. Experience diverse health situations, from pediatrics to geriatrics, all while receiving ongoing training and support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess callers' conditions and apply nursing policies effectively
• Document assessments and recommendations accurately
• Support patients in making informed self-care choices
• Collaborate with third parties in urgent situations
• Ensure compliance with Telecare service demand
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience
• Current RN license in your province
• Nursing diploma required;
Bachelor’s preferred
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
• Stable high-speed internet and conducive home office space
