$60.00/hr - $70.00/hr

Position:  Social Sciences PhD Expert

Type:  Hourly contract

Compensation:  $60–$70/hour

Location:

Remote Complexity,

Commitment:  Part-time, project-based (10–20 hours/week)

Responsibilities

Create and refine historically accurate prompts and ideal responses across diverse time periods and geographies

Evaluate and improve AI-generated outputs for factual accuracy, depth, and clarity

Develop content aligned with different system personas (e.g., academic expert, generalist learner)

Generate prompt variants to test instruction-following, tone, and persona-based responses

Identify and design tasks that expose limitations in state-of-the-art AI models

Contribute

RGBA to long-term supervised fine-tuning dataset development initiatives

Requirements

PhD in History or a closely related social science discipline

Specialized expertise in a defined historical era, region, or methodology

Strong analytical and written communication skills

Experience in academic writing, curriculum design, or public history is preferred

Ability to work independently and iteratively with minimal oversight
