We are actively seeking a Project Coordinator (Contract September 1, 2026 – March 1, 2027). This is a remote working opportunity.
About This OpportunityReporting to the Career Summit Series Project Lead, you will coordinate all aspects of the project, including event planning teams, registration, payment, travel, accommodation, venue and evening gala logistics. You will work with diverse stakeholders: committee members, onsite vendors, speakers, volunteers, partners, staff and youth. You will also provide customer and administrative support, technical coordination for event management, registration and logistics, and finance process support.
PositionSpecifics
- Participate in all elements of event management and support key logistics and plans.
- Support the development of digital programming for youth ages 15–19.
- Administer the event platform and other digital registration tools.
- Monitor and respond to email inquiries from youth, caregivers, volunteers, and staff.
- Keep key documents (communication plans, FAQ documents, financial records, tracking spreadsheets) updated.
- Schedule and attend meetings; provide meeting minutes and action items.
- Maintain and update the budget continuously.
- Support data collection, evaluation, and writing of funding reports.
- Track key milestones and work‑plan deliverables.
- Participate in cross‑team collaboration to support execution of key deliverables and action items.
- Support evaluative measures throughout the design and implementation process.
- Update key documents such as FAQs and support resources.
- Track and prioritize feedback and recommendations from each planning team.
- Develop strong knowledge and understanding of GGC’s policies and guidelines.
- Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and practices.
- Liaise with other departments as required.
- Apply organizational policies regarding diversity, inclusion and equity to content, member communication and customer service.

Requirements- Related post‑secondary education or equivalent work experience.
- 2–3 years of experience with project coordination and/or event planning, technical support and customer service.
- Experience in large‑scale event management and planning.
- Experience as a GGC staff member or volunteer.
- Understanding of volunteer relationship support.
- Strong time‑management skills.
- Ability to multi‑task and manage competing priorities.
- Highly organized and able to take initiative in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with event management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and detail tracking.
- Intermediate computer skills including Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams).
- Remote and hybrid work experience is an asset.
- Enjoys solving puzzles.
- Very strong attention to detail.
- High levels of responsibility.
Hiring range: $45,600–$53,820 per annum.
