Job Summary

Store Worker performs a variety of duties in commissary store departments such as grocery, produce, warehouse, and other.

• Ensure proper care and handling of resale grocery items.
• Locate items for customers.
• Rotate stock, stack containers, and participate in inventories.
• Operate computer systems to calculate prices and label merchandise.
• Arrange stock on shelves and in displays.

Applicants must demonstrate experience or equivalent skills in the duties listed above. Equivalent experience includes paid, unpaid, or volunteer work (e.g., National Service program).

• Ability to perform the work without more than normal supervision.
• Dexterity and safety.
• Work practices such as keeping things neat, clean and in order.
• Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, etc. (not blueprints).
• Knowledge of materials.
• Technical practice.

• Continuously walk, stand, bend, stoop, stretch, and reach.
• Lift up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance.

The position has one critical skill element (SOE). Candidates must meet the lowest acceptable requirement.
