The Role of Area Sales ManagerThis is a field and home based sales position.
Responsibilities- This position involves promoting a specialist range of commercial building products used across a variety of non‑residential projects including education, healthcare, leisure, transport and office environments.
- Working at early project stage to support design teams and influence product selection.
- Engaging with multiple stakeholders across the construction and design process.
- Managing a mix of new business development, project tracking and account management activity.
- Progressing opportunities from initial enquiry through to specification and order stage.
- Building and maintaining relationships with architects, consultants, main contractors, local authorities and installers.
- Providing product support and guidance to assist with decision making during project development.
This is a consultative sales role requiring strong relationship building skills and a structured approach to managing a live pipeline of projects.
The CompanyOur client is an established international manufacturer supplying commercial building products into the wider construction sector. The business operates across multiple markets and has a strong reputation for product quality, reliability and long‑term performance.
CandidateWe are looking for someone with field sales experience and a consistent, stable track record of success. Full training will be provided so experience within the construction or building products sector is not required.

- Ability to manage long and complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
- Natural curiosity with a willingness to learn and develop.
- £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
- £12.5K OTE.
