The Role Area Sales Representative - Pacific NorthwestThe Area Sales Representative will represent Nixie in the Pacific Northwest area, supporting and growing our current retail business. You should be passionate about retail execution, brand building, and sales development. This is a position with tremendous opportunity for growth. You’ll have the chance to use creative thinking to build relationships and velocity in an exciting and supportive team environment. The most important qualifications for success in this role are a positive attitude, a knack for problem-solving, and a love for developing retailer partnerships.
While this is a remote position, the candidate must be located in the Seattle or Portland area.
- Work with our DSD partner
- Develop and maintain grocery, natural, and alternative channel business through identifying and up-selling in-store opportunities, optimizing shelf space, implementing merchandising standards, and elevating brand awareness for approved Nixie products
- Retail execution and confirmation of all account-specific activity, including, but not limited to, display builds, promotional confirmations, pricing audits, and implementing incentive programs
- Ensure planogram compliance and sufficient on-hand inventory levels to keep shelf, cooler, and displays full
- Drive consumer awareness and trial via use of POS materials, IRC placement, and occasional demos
- Deliver on monthly and quarterly sales goals
- Leverage relationships with our broker, merchandiser, and distributor network to drive sales
- Manage travel within an assigned 50+ mile territory
- Accurately record and report product and chain-specific information, documenting daily activities, accomplishments, and competitive insights in a timely manner
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must possess a clean driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle to travel to and from accounts
- Able to lift multiple 20 lb. cases repeatedly (for display building and restocking shelves)
- Must reside in the Greater Seattle or Portland area
- Ability to work early mornings
