We are seeking candidates with experience in OTR truck driving and sales.
To get our attention, you must be a former driver with relevant sales experience.
- 2+ years being an OTR driver
- 3+ years of quota-carrying high-volume inside or outside sales experience
Truck Parking Club seeks a dynamic and results-oriented candidate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reaching out to potential property owners and successfully assisting them in listing their property on our platform. You will spend much of your time explaining the benefits of listing their underutilized space with Truck Parking Club, answering questions, and evaluating the potential of their property.
Your primary objective will be to drive growth by expanding our nationwide network of parking locations.
- Evaluate New Properties: Assess potential property members and their properties to determine suitability for Truck Parking Club. This includes evaluating property conditions, location, amenities, and other relevant factors.
- Explain Program Details: Explain to potential property members how Truck Parking Club works, its benefits, and the requirements for joining.
- Creating and/or Editing Property Photos and Descriptions: Ensure property photos and descriptions are accurate and visually appealing. Edit photos and write descriptions that reflect each property's key features and amenities.
- Liaise with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new property members.
- Conduct outbound sales calls: This role involves making outbound sales calls to connect with potential property owners and presenting Truck Parking Club as a valuable solution for monetizing underutilized space. During these calls, you'll use persuasive techniques to overcome objections and effectively communicate the benefits of listing their property on our platform. To be successful, you'll need to craft compelling messages that resonate with property owners, demonstrating how Truck Parking Club can turn their underutilized spaces into profitable assets while also focusing on our core mission of helping drivers.
Your ability to address concerns and highlight the advantages of our program will be key to building interest and converting property prospects into property members. - Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners: Establishing trust with our property members is fundamental to this position. Your effectiveness will hinge on your capacity to actively listen, communicate clearly, and promptly resolve any issues or concerns that arise.
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity metrics, including but not limited to ticket response times, outbound call volume, talk time, and new properties added.
- Meet or exceed monthly property targets: In this role, your success is directly measured by the number of new properties you add to Truck Parking Club monthly. Meeting or exceeding these monthly property targets is crucial, as it contributes to the overall growth and success of the organization. The more properties you bring on board, the more significant the impact you'll have on our business goals and our ability to serve the needs of truck drivers.
This metric is a key performance indicator for this position, guiding your efforts and providing a precise measure of success. - Administrative Duties: Handle all administrative tasks associated with adding new properties, making necessary edits to listings, data entry, and maintaining accurate records in all internal systems.
- MANDATORY 2+ years of experience as an OTR truck driver, with 3+ years of experience in sales.
