The Account Executive sells Johnson Controls Commercial Security services and technology such as access control, CCTV, digital video recording, intrusion, closing new business and ensuring customer retention. Responsible for securing sales and upgrades to new and existing customers. This is a field sales position requiring frequent travel to customer sites. Working remotely from home office will be available.

• Build new market share by selling to new local commercial customers.
• Sell additional products and services to existing accounts that continue to present new sales opportunities. Renew existing customer agreements. Sell add-ons, amend, and convert existing customer systems to meet expectations.
• Responsible for resale opportunities.
• Identify prospects applying lead‑generating techniques and maintain productive working relationships with existing customers.
• Independently establish call plans and customer follow‑up strategies and tactics and consistently apply time and territory management techniques. Follow up with prospects. Conduct post installation follow‑up by contacting customer, ensuring commitments were met and affirming customer satisfaction once the customer has been in service.

Required

• Experience in outside sales, preferably in enterprise class commercial security systems or other technology.
• Sales experience in security industry.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Available for frequent local travel to customer offices.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $80,600 – 126,000 CAD Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
