Job Summary

The Executive Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with distributors, resellers, and other channel partners in the EVSE industry. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, expanding market reach, and ensuring partner success through effective relationship management, training, and sales enablement. The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional with a proven track record in channel management and a passion for sustainable energy solutions.

Areas of Focus

  • Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth: Develop and execute channel sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets, aligning with company goals and market trends in the EVSE industry.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing partners, acting as their primary point of contact and ensuring mutual success.
  • Partner Development: Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners, including distributors, integrators, and resellers, to expand the company’s EVSE market footprint.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate partnership agreements, pricing, and terms to ensure mutually beneficial arrangements while adhering to company policies.
  • Training & Enablement: Provide partners with product training, marketing materials, and sales tools to effectively promote and sell EVSE solutions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze partner performance metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights to optimize channel sales outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure partners have the resources needed to succeed.
  • Event Representation: Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and partner events to promote products and strengthen brand visibility.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed on EVSE industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to position the company’s products effectively within the channel.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development, preferably in EVSE, renewable energy, or related technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets through channel partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field: MBA or equivalent is a plus.

Other Requirements

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for partner meetings, industry events, and training sessions.
  • Passion for sustainability and the electric vehicle ecosystem.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Established network of contacts within the EVSE or renewable energy industry.
  • Market Segment Targets
  • Utilities (Investor-Owned Utilities (IOU) & Cooperatives)
  • Fleets (Construction/Heavy Equipment, Trucks, Buses)
  • Retail (Fueling, Grocery)
  • Experience working with distributors or resellers in hardware markets.
  • Knowledge of government incentives, rebates, or policies related to EV charging infrastructure.
  • Performance-based bonuses.
