Role Description

This is a contract hybrid position for a Father Engagement Specialist based in Anderson, IN, with the flexibility of partial work-from-home arrangements. The Father Engagement Specialist will lead efforts to engage fathers in family support services by conducting community outreach, providing training for parenting skills, and offering one-on-one coaching to enrolled participants. Day-to-day tasks include research on best practices in father engagement, implementing support programs that promote positive parental involvement, conducting workshops, and maintaining clear, comprehensive records for each case.

The specialist will also collaborate with stakeholders and community organizations to enhance program reach and effectiveness.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or a directly related human services field from an accredited college
  • OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in another field plus a minimum of five (5) years of experience working directly with families in the child welfare system
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable personal vehicle
  • Ability to transport self and others when required
  • Compliance with contract requirements for minimum automobile insurance coverage
