Our mission is to ensure every child grows up in a safe, loving, and permanent family. We work in Morocco, Pakistan, Thailand, Korea, and Jamaica, supporting families across the U.S.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Remote Social Work Supervisor to oversee clinical and compliance-related aspects of our international adoption programs. The ideal candidate is experienced in child welfare
, home studies
, and intercountry adoption
, and is committed to ethical, family-centered practice.

This is a remote, part-time role with flexible hours. Ideal for licensed professionals seeking meaningful impact in international social services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise social work staff in clinical services:
    home studies
    , child background studies
    , counseling
    , post-placement
    , and adoption readiness
    .
  • Review home study reports submitted by cooperative or supervised providers.
  • In cooperation with staff, ensure compliance with Hague Convention standards (22 CFR Part 96).
  • Provide guidance on complex cases and support staff working with high-risk families.
  • Participate in agency self-studies and quality improvement
    .
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director on policy, programming, and ethical practice oversight.
Qualifications
  • Master’s in Social Work (MSW) or a related human services field.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in adoption
    , foster care
    , or child welfare services.
  • Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Hague-accredited adoption
    , home study procedures
    , and intercountry placement
    .
  • Strong communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote team environment
    .
