What you will do:

Conduct diverse assessments, focusing on Child and Families Assessments and ensuring robust interventions. Manage a varied caseload including Children in Need, Child Protection cases, children in our care, and public/private care proceedings. Support children and families from the point a referral requires social work intervention, actively participating in solution-focused discussions and planning. Collaborate closely with targeted/intensive family support services and the Family Group Conference Service for holistic family interventions.

Develop strong working relationships with partner organisations across the local authority to ensure comprehensive support for families and children. Why Darlington:
