AI Engineer About the Job you are considering:
Capgemini Financial Services is building a new AI Engineering Innovation team to design and deliver next-generation AI solutions for strategic business use cases. The team already includes experienced technologists, and we are expanding with AI engineers and developers who are passionate about solving complex technical challenges using modern AI, large language models (LLMs), and cloud-native engineering.
If you are a strong Python developer with hands-on experience in AI engineering, agentic frameworks, and enjoy working in fast-paced, collaborative environments, this is the role for you.
Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role:
Develop scalable AI/LLM-based solutions using Python, Lang Chain, Lang Graph, and related agentic frameworks
Build, optimize, and deploy agentic AI workflows, multi-agent architectures, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems
Contribute to the design and implementation of LLM observability, evaluation workflows, prompt monitoring, and model performance instrumentation
Collaborate with Data Scientists and AI Engineers to integrate machine learning models into production systems
Participate in architectural discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews
Drive continuous improvement through innovation, experimentation, and rapid prototyping
Work closely within cross-functional and globally distributed teams, contributing to team culture, knowledge sharing, and engineering best practices
Your
Skills:
Strong hands-on experience as a Python Developer with solid coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Practical experience in AI engineering, with exposure to building LLM-based or agentic AI solutions
Familiarity with Lang Chain, Lang Graph, or similar agentic/LLM orchestration frameworks
Understanding of LLM observability, evaluation metrics, prompt evaluation, guardrails, and model lifecycle management
Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and integration patterns
Strong team player with the ability to learn quickly, adapt to new tools/technologies, and contribute in a greenfield environment
Exposure to vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures
Knowledge of AI safety, governance, and responsible AI principles
Experience in enterprise-grade application delivery within banking or financial services
