Role Summary Exe Qut  is hiring a Backend Java Developer to join our Maryland-based team in a hybrid capacity. You will design and develop robust backend systems serving U.S. enterprise clients, collaborating with product managers, frontend engineers, and Dev Ops in an agile environment. This is a great opportunity for a skilled Java engineer ready to take ownership of meaningful, production-grade work.###

Primary Responsibilities
* Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot
* Contribute to system architecture and design decisions with best practices in mind
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, frontend developers, and Dev Ops
* Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning
* Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
* Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to root cause analysis
* Optionally support product ownership tasks such as requirement elicitation and solution scoping

Qualifications & Requirements Technical Expertise
* 3+ years of professional experience in backend Java development
* Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot
* Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs
* Solid understanding of software development best practices and architecture patterns
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship available at this time)
Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Have)
* Java certification(s)
* Experience with Microsoft Azure
* Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines
