Salary/Wage Range or Industry Benchmark: 24 - 27 USD Hourly USD 24.00 27.00 HOUR

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base pay rate of $24.00 to $27.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:

Manage check runs, AP transactions, and monthly reporting activities.
Process invoices, check requests, and track expense reports accurately.
Resolve discrepancies, issues, and vendor inquiries in a timely manner.
Maintain organized vendor files and ensure accurate account payments.
Assist with month-end closing and provide supporting documentation as needed.

Requirements:

Demonstrate strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Show proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with Concur is a plus.
Communicate effectively through verbal and written channels.
Pay close attention to detail and maintain high levels of accuracy.
Work collaboratively as a team player with a strong work ethic.

Qualifications:

Possess experience in managing accounts payable processes and vendor relationships.
Track and process employee expenses and ensure compliance with company policies.
Prepare and review 1099 filings in accordance with IRS regulations.
Support internal audits by providing accurate and timely documentation.
Exhibit the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
