QC Chemistry Associate
Perform laboratory analysis of samples according to established specifications and procedures using wet chemistry techniques or various lab apparatus and instruments in compliance with
B.Braun, cGMP, GLP's, SOP's USP and FDA guidelines.
- Performs lab analysis of samples according to established specifications and procedures using wet chemistry techniques or various lab apparatus and instruments (e.g. HPLC, GC, UV-VIS, FT-IR, TOC and pH meter).
- Performs routine qualification, calibration, and maintenance of lab instruments.
- Prepares analytical standards and reagents according to established procedures and specifications.
- Performs protocol execution for method verification/validation.
- Scan and compile supporting data for report/document preparation.
- Other tasks and projects assigned as appropriate.
- Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry or related scientific field is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 0-1 year of experience in an academic/science laboratory.
- Must have excellent technical writing skills, editing, formatting and organization skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Working in a controlled lab with chemicals in a manufacturing facility.
- Full product testing in lab- IV solution formulation tank level- releasing bulk of IV before putting in bags.
- Lab- IV solutions stability, finished products or raw materials.
- Extractions/PH/ UV-Vis/titrations/HPLC extractions/fluorescent testing.
- Work Environment:
Lab coat, lab safety shoes, glasses (may need to go to in-process Testing) 25 people overall within their department. All in one lab, but the in-process lab may have 1 person, 2 together on shift.
Monday – Friday 8am-4:30pm
- Perform chemistry testing and other QC Lab Associate essential duties in support of Process Surface Material Qualification.
- Alternate Raw Material Supplier Qualifications and other projects at the QC Chemistry laboratory.
This is a Contract position based out of Orange, CA.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
