As a surveying technician within Pomerleau's civil engineering & infrastructure team, you will work closely with all workers to ensure the coordination of the work. Working on large-scale construction projects - ranging from 1.5 million dollars to over one billion dollars - you will have the opportunity to support and assist the team member and participate in the execution of the work according to the specifications.

What

you will do
  • Conduct field surveys:
    Use surveying instruments to measure and record topographic data;
  • Set out points and markers:
    Place markers on the site to guide construction work (underground services, curbs, sidewalks, paving, etc.);
  • Relay information:
    Ensure that all project stakeholders have the necessary information for the progress of the work;
  • Monitoring and control:
    Supervise and inspect the work to ensure its compliance with plans and specifications;
  • Work as a team, maintain a pleasant and trusting work environment, communicate effectively with colleagues and other trade crews on the site;
  • Perform any other related tasks connected to operations.
This role could be for you if you have
  • Un DEP, AEC ou Certificat en arpentage ou génie civil;
  • 1 à 2 ans d’expérience en chantier de construction civil;
  • Une carte ASP Construction & SIMDUT 2015;
  • Un permis de conduire valide – Classe 5;
  • Une maîtrise des outils d’arpentage (station totale robotisée, GPS).
