* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Coordinate and perform maintenance tasks on facility systems, including refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and material handling equipment.
* Support preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
* Assist in coordinating repairs, upgrades, and vendor/contractor activities.
* Ensure adherence to company safety policies and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, USDA, FDA).
* Monitor facility conditions and promptly report issues requiring management attention.
* Provide guidance and daily direction to maintenance staff and contractors.
* Maintain accurate logs, reports, and compliance-related documentation.
* Collaborate with operations teams to ensure facilities meet service and operational needs.
** Qualifications and Requirements:
*** Associate’s degree or technical training in Facilities Management, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
* 3+ years of experience in facility or maintenance operations, preferably in a warehouse or food distribution environment.
* Strong hands-on knowledge of building systems, refrigeration, and/or HVAC equipment.
* Understanding of workplace safety and regulatory requirements.
* Ability to lead, train, and coordinate maintenance teams across shifts.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
